Abstract: Cirsoid aneurysms, although rare, represent an intriguing vascular pathology characterized by tortuous, dilated blood vessels with a propensity for arteriovenous shunting. While these lesions can occur in various regions of the body, their manifestation in the face (cheek) is exceptionally uncommon. This article presents case of 44 yr. male patient, suffering from recurrent Cirsoid aneurysm, rarely reported in literature. The main feeder for the aneurysm being Superficial Temporal artery and drainage to Internal Jugular vein. The Aneurysm was operated. Article involves a comprehensive review of cirsoid aneurysms, with a focus on their etiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic modalities, and management strategies. Through the exploration of a clinical case and pertinent literature, the article sheds light on the challenges associated with diagnosing and treating cirsoid aneurysms of the cheek.

Abstract:

Type 1 first Branchial cysts are uncommon congenital anomalies that often pose diagnostic challenges due to their varied presentations and potential for misidentification. We present a case report of a patient diagnosed with a type 1 first Branchial cyst, discussing the clinical manifestation, diagnostic approach, and successful surgical management. A 52-year-old female presented with a painful, recurrent, fluctuant swelling in the left lateral neck region, which was initially misdiagnosed as an infected lymph node. Imaging studies revealed a cystic lesion possibly arising from Parotid gland. Surgical excision was performed, and Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of a type 1 first Branchial cyst. This case emphasizes the importance of considering Branchial anomalies in the differential diagnosis of lateral neck masses and highlights the significance of accurate diagnosis and timely surgical intervention for optimal patient outcomes.

Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force in healthcare, presenting innovative approaches to data management, patient engagement, diagnostic accuracy, and surgical assistance. This study explores the multifaceted applications of AI across various subjects integral to the MBBS curriculum, aiming to identify its impact and potential in each domain. A novel approach was adopted using a chatbot powered by AI technology (ChatGPT) to streamline the data collection process. Keywords such as “AI in Healthcare,” “Telemedicine,” “Diagnostic AI,” “Surgical AI”, “MBBS curriculum”, “AI with name of branch” were systematically employed to search ChatGPT and compile relevant literature and data. The chatbot facilitated efficient data extraction and analysis, contributing to the synthesis of comprehensive insights. Surprisingly, our review revealed a dearth of prior studies focusing on the integration of AI across these medical subjects, underscoring the novelty and urgency of this research. This review not only sheds light on the current landscape but also paves the way for future investigations and advancements in AI-driven medical education and practice.

Abstract: This article investigates the prevalence and potential causes of Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SNHL) among individuals living near Railway tracks. Sensorineural Hearing Loss is a significant Public Health concern globally, affecting millions of individuals. While the etiology of SNHL is multifaceted, environmental factors, including exposure to Noise pollution, have been implicated. Railway tracks are recognized sources of Noise pollution, characterized by high-intensity Sound emissions from passing Trains. Audiometric tests were conducted on a sample comprising Railway employees and their family members who sought medical care for ear complaints at the Hospital. The participants were divided into two groups based on their proximity to Railway tracks. The collected data were analyzed to determine the relationship between distance from Railway tracks and the prevalence of Hearing loss. Analysis of the data reveals a significant association between distance from Railway tracks and the severity of Hearing loss. Participants residing further from Railway tracks exhibited lower rates of Hearing loss compared to those living closer to the tracks. The findings suggest a potential link between proximity to Railway tracks and Sensorineural Hearing Loss among family members of Railway workers. This underscores the importance of implementing effective Noise control measures and providing adequate Hearing protection for both Railway workers and their families living in close proximity to Railway tracks.

Abstract- In the dynamic environment of Healthcare, the motivation of service providers is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care and achieving organizational goals. Higher Patient Satisfaction is achieved when service providers the ‘Doctors’ are motivated and satisfied. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing the motivational levels of Healthcare Providers, particularly in relation to management practices. By employing the Delphi method, we seek to develop a comprehensive Hospital Administration Model, termed the 5A Model. This model will encompass key aspects such as Advancement, Acknowledgement, Affluence, Assistance, and Ambiance providing a structured approach for Healthcare managers to foster a motivating work environment.

Abstract: Pleomorphic adenomas are the Benign Mixed Salivary gland tumours, typically found in major salivary glands. Their occurrence in the Nasal septum is exceedingly rare. This case report details the clinical presentation, diagnostic process, and treatment of a Pleomorphic adenoma originating from the anterior part of nasal septum in a 63-year-old female patient. The patient presented with a Nasal mass and Epistaxis. The initial diagnosis required the use of both Computerised Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to accurately identify the tumour’s characteristics and extent. Complete Surgical excision was the treatment employed.

Abstract: In recent years, Hospitals have increasingly turned to environmental Sustainability initiatives not only to reduce their ecological footprint but also to enhance their brand image. The study aims to evaluate the knowledge levels of Hospital managers regarding Green healthcare practices, including Green hospital branding, Sustainability, Infrastructure development, Energy efficiency, and Waste management. A structured questionnaire was developed utilizing Likert scale responses for Knowledge assessment of managers familiarity and understanding of these critical areas. The survey was administered to hospital managers across various healthcare facilities. The findings shed light on the current state of knowledge among hospital managers and highlight areas for improvement in environmental Sustainability practices within Healthcare management. Understanding the knowledge gaps in this domain is crucial for implementing effective strategies to enhance sustainability initiatives in healthcare facilities.

Abstract: This article examines three cases of Wegener’s Granulomatosis, now referred to as Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA), with a particular emphasis on ENT (ear, nose, and throat) manifestations and clinical observations. GPA is a rare form of Vasculitis that frequently affects the Upper respiratory tract, making early ENT evaluation vital for accurate diagnosis and treatment. The cases presented here illustrate a range of ENT symptoms, such as Chronic sinusitis, Nasal obstruction, and Epistaxis, which played a key role in the initial diagnosis. The detailed clinical assessments and imaging findings shed light on the disease’s progression and the difficulties in distinguishing it from other ENT conditions. This article underscores the essential role of the ENT department in the early detection of systemic diseases, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a high index of suspicion for systemic conditions during ENT evaluations. The case reports highlight the necessity for prompt and comprehensive investigations to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely intervention.

Abstract: The Prevalence of Gynaecology patients in Government hospitals, particularly in Durgapur, highlights significant Healthcare challenges and the accessibility of medical services for women in this region. This article explores the factors influencing the high number of gynaecology patients in Durgapur’s government hospitals, analyzing both statistical data and broader social and economic trends. The study, conducted over six months with 460 enrolled patients, revealed that Reproductive tract Infections were the most prevalent condition, followed by Pelvic inflammatory disease and Menstrual disorders. These findings underscore the impact of poor health conditions, with infections being the most common issue, reflecting the region’s challenging socio-economic circumstances. The study emphasizes the importance of sustained government support and investment in healthcare infrastructure to address the increasing demand for gynaecological services in Durgapur.
